May 26 – What’s All This Talk About Tax Reform? -- Senate Majority Leader, Lisa Brown (D-Spokane) and John Burbank, Executive Director of the Economic Opportunity Institute in Seattle will discuss the necessity for, and the politics around, transforming our state’s tax policies. Kelli Linville and Dale Brandland will be the first responders.

June 23 – What Does Health Care Reform Mean for Whatcom County? State Insurance Commissioner Mike Kreidler, Victoria Doerper, Executive Director of the NW Regional Council, and David Lynch, Immediate Past President of the Whatcom Medical Society will discuss how the HCR legislation will play out both in our state and in Whatcom County.

July 28 – “Why I Am Suing the Feds?” – State Attorney General Rob McKenna will speak on a variety of topics including the lawsuit he joined testing the constitutionality of aspects of the HCR law.
